One of the world’s most visited cities, full of places to visit, sites to see and things to do, London is an urbanist’s dream. While in Europe this May for the Venice Biennale, the Left Bank Co. team took the opportunity to spend some time in London, and for the first time in a long time, became awestruck tourists in a town we thought we knew quite well. We spent our time meeting old friends and new clients, exploring great sites of urban renewal, and discovering the places that make London such a progressive and exciting city. Our adventures across town took us to the Kings Cross redevelopment, the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Young Vic Theatre, Selfridges, the National Theatre, Southbank Centre, the redevelopment at Elephant and Castle, Marylebone High Street and the Serpentine Gallery and Pavilions, just to name a few.
These experiences have allowed our team to reflect on our company purpose – making cities meaningful – and think about what it is that makes London so successful in providing places that are full of life, energy and meaning.

A new brand for Michelle Tabet Pty Ltd.
This is the first news instalment for Left Bank Co., the new and improved branding for Michelle Tabet’s boutique creative and strategy business. We’ve been in business for nearly two years and been honoured to continue working with a great selection of clients and collaborators. This news feed has been designed to keep you abreast of what we’re doing, and who we’re doing it with.
Michelle started her business in November 2014, taking the work she had been doing corporately to the world of small business and entrepreneurship. The key to going into business is to do just that: set yourself up quick, sell what you have to offer and work hard. This is what Michelle did under the business that bore her name for the past 18 months.
But now that the team has expanded to welcome Hahna Busch, we have had to rethink the way in which we presented ourselves, and develop a brand that would be more inclusive of collaborators that we work with. This is how Left Bank Co. was born.
Our brand stands for independent and creative thought, just like the thinkers and scholars of Paris’s Left Bank. As a small creative and strategic agency, we pride ourselves on being helpful outsiders, who guide clients and help them be the best they can be as they work on making our cities more meaningful.
