"I have an appreciation for dynamic cities, having been born in Jakarta, one of Asia's busiest metropoles. It goes without saying that aesthetically pleasing architecture and infrastructure plays a huge role in determining a city's greatness, however, I believe egalitarian access to progressive community services and public infrastructure as well as abundant nature (greenery is essential) is fundamental."
Jeanne works across different media platforms, both print and digital. Her knowledge and passion for the arts, interiors, travel and fashion coupled with her extensive media experience (and stickler for good grammar) hold her in good stead for freelancing projects.
Jeanne has worked on illustrious magazine titles such as Cathay Pacific Discovery, Qantas The Australian Way and Harper's BAZAAR Australia. Most recently, she was BAZAAR's Deputy Chief Subeditor and also Features Writer/Editor of its feted Lifestyle and Culture section, which involved travelling to far-flung places to deliver the latest news in the arts, interiors and style, in addition to colourful city guides and salacious celebrity interviews. She loves a glossy tome and has chief-subbed notable coffee-table books such as BAZAAR's Australian Style and The Pool: Architecture, Culture and Identity, the companion publication to the Australian installation at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016.
