Petra is an experienced creative director and communications strategist, specialising in the urban development and cultural industries.

She has managed the communications strategy for multi-billion-dollar urban development bids, and directed community engagement efforts to support innovative solutions that redefine cities. Her clients have included Lendlease, The Hornery Institute, Infrastructure NSW, the Department of Health & Ageing, and Business Monitor International. 

In addition, she acted as Director of Communications and Media for two large international cultural festivals, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival and Ubud Food Festival.

Petra’s 15 years of experience working with a diverse set of organisations, from premium brands to charities and one-person start-ups make her adept at tailoring communications strategies to various end-uses.

She holds a Communications & History degree from the University of Sydney, and a Masters in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia, where she received the Malcolm Bradbury Award. Petra is also a published author.
